What this service entails
When It’s Too Heavy for Everyone Else
Every shop in Detroit has one: the machine that died years ago and became a very expensive shelf. Moving it takes more than a pickup truck — it takes machinery skates, gantries, winches, and a crew that has moved a hundred of them. That’s our normal Tuesday.
We walk the job first, plan the path out (doorways, floors, power drops), then rig and extract without damaging the building. Fluids are drained and captured, motors and copper-heavy components are separated for top payout, and the carcass goes to licensed recycling. Full shop closures get a phased plan so the valuable iron pays you while the rest disappears free.

The process
How a Machinery Job Goes
Walk the Job
We visit (or video-walk) to size the machines, check access, and plan rigging — then give a firm free-haul quote.
Rig & Extract
The crew skates, winches, and lifts each piece out cleanly — floors, doorways, and utilities protected throughout.
Separate & Pay
Copper-heavy motors and components are weighed for payout; the rest is recycled through licensed yards.

Quick Answers
We regularly move multi-ton machines — if it fit through the door going in, we can get it out. Send the make, model, or a photo and we’ll confirm rigging on the walkthrough.
Power should be dropped by your electrician; we handle everything after that — unbolting, fluid draining, rigging, and haul-out. For full plant closures we coordinate the whole sequence with your team.
Yes. Heavy iron and copper-rich motors carry real scrap value, which covers our rigging time. And the payout on motors and copper often means we pay you, not the other way around.
